I am a Biologist by university education, did a postgrad in History and Philosophy of Science then moved into the world of commerce and industry. I am currently enrolled in a part-time Mathematics degree, which I try to fit into a busy family and job life. I probably try to do too much, with the result that I keep falling short.

I have been interested in photography since the age of seven when I was given a Kodak Box Brownie. But I don't profess to be a good photographer, just a happy snapper! - I have never really had the time to develop the skills to go beyond this. But I am beginning to try harder. Photo-blogging and hooking into other blogs is a good way to learn more.
